In 2002, she moved her practice into a newly designed and technologically advanced facility. The family oriented practice provides preventative, restorative and cosmetic dental care. She and her staff provide a comprehensive team approach to diagnosis and treatment with a special interest in total patient care and the link between oral and systemic health. Comprehensive clinical patient care is of utmost importance. Dr. Embree graduated from The University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She completed postdoctoral training in a General Practice Residency at University of Michigan Hospitals Department of Hospital Dentistry. Dr. Embree received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and practiced in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at University of Michigan Mott Children's Hospital prior to her dental school training. She is actively involved in local community school programs that promote dental health education. Jill Patient Coordinator Business Manager I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Eastern Michigan University in 2000 and found myself working in the dental field. I have worked in many dental offices through a consulting company, but am now only working with Dr. Embree. You will find me doing anything from scheduling your appointments to taking care of your administrative needs. I reconcile all billing and insurance, and play an active role as our office's HIPPA coordinator.     Kelly Front Desk I am excited to be the newest addition to Dr. Embree's staff. I previously worked in the dental field as an office manager as well as for a consulting company. I have been working the front desk for Dr. Embree since I moved back to Michigan from Florida in January 2009. Meeting and interacting with the patients are what I enjoy the most about my job. The caring and friendly atmosphere here will keep you coming back.     Jamie Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) I have been with Dr. Embree since 2002 and I really enjoy working in the hygiene field. I graduated from Kellogg Community College in 2000 with an Assoc.of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002 with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene and received my Anesthetic license from the Univ. of Michigan in 2003. My desire to be a dental hygienist began when I was about 10 years old, and my major interest is in periodontal therapy. I live in Ann Arbor with my husband and we recently just had our first child.     Krista Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) My passion for oral health and dental hygiene began at a young age; I have always loved a healthy smile! It is my desire to encourage dental health and educate my patients and I truly enjoy the dental hygiene profession. I attained my Assoc. of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Mott community college and also have my anesthetic license. I have also earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. I have been employed with Dr. Embree since 2004 and I feel extremely fortunate to be part of a professional team that puts the best interest of every patient first. This is a very comfortable and inviting office atmosphere with state of the art technology. I am married and have two beautiful daughters.       Janet Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Detroit Mercy and have enjoyed working in the dental field for over 20 years. I began as a dental assistant, and presently work as a Registered Dental Hygienist. My role as a dental professional allows me to contribute to my community as a healthcare provider, and as an educator. I enjoy working with people to enhance their oral health. I feel fortunate to be a part of Dr. Embree's dental team. Our team provides excellent patient care, technology and patient education. I have been married for 21 years and live in Chelsea, Michigan with my family. We enjoy water sports and traveling.     Sarah Certified Dental Assistant I graduated from the dental assisting program at Washtenaw Community College in August of 2003. I had the privilege of being hired by Dr. Embree in February of 2004, and became a Certified Dental Assistant in April of 2004. I love working at this office using the latest equipment and technology. I love to help put beautiful smiles on our patient's faces. I am currently going to dental hygiene school and am filling in at the office working the front desk. I have been married for 6 years to my high school sweetheart. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we are expecting our first child in January 2009.       Angie, Dental Assistant I have been a dental assistant for 14 years and love working in the dental profession. I enjoy having the opportunity to help people achieve their optimum dental health. I received my training through the United States Navy, and am also certified in Radiology.     Kerry, Dental Assistant I have been a dental assistant for 13 years and I love working in the dental field. I am excited to be working with Dr. Embree and my wonderful team of co-workers. Our office is technologically advanced and has the highest standards of patient care. I am the OSHA coordinator for the office. In this role I work to ensure that all the OSHA workplace guidelines are met for optimal patient and employee safety. I am radiology and CPR certified.
