Hopefully you have enjoyed the flower garden we planted last year. It bloomed beautifully and makes our entryway look and smell wonderful.
Dr. Embree was honored as a Top Dentist in Detroit’s Hour Magazine for the third year in a row. Dr Tammy Trullard was also honored this year. Both Dr. Embree and Dr. Trullard have taken on a two year commitment as delegates to the Michigan Dental Association. This includes active involvement in determining state dental legislature.
Dr. Trullard has been in private practice for over 20 years and has been sharing our office since 2006. She has recently added more hours to become available to see Dr. Embree’s patients for greater patient scheduling and availability.
In staff news we would like to welcome back Sarah to our practice. Sarah started here in 2004 as a dental assistant, then worked briefly at the front desk. She completed her schooling in Dental Hygiene in 2011 and is seeing patients on a part time basis. We have also added a new front desk receptionist, Kim. Kim has 5 years experience working in dental offices and we are very happy to have her here with us. She is very knowledgeable with scheduling as well as helping with insurance benefits. We have recently added 2 new assistants to our team and both come with years of experience, look for their bio's and pictures coming to our staff page soon.
We will not be mailing reminder postcards for currently scheduled appointments any longer, however we will continue to mail out reminders when it is time to schedule an appointment or when you may be overdue. We will still continue to call or send an email reminder 1 week prior to scheduled appointments. Please be sure we have your correct contact information on file, including an email address so we may send those reminders. This is also a good time to check your 2012 dental insurance benefits and make sure we have that current information as well.
As you may have noticed we now have a weekly dental blog which is posted on our website as well as a Facebook page. Please visit our Facebook page and feel free to write on our wall or check in, and don't forget to "Like" us!
Finally, we would like to send a thank you to those who have recently referred patients to us. We are still welcoming new patients and love getting to know friends and family.
